Today is Mary-Kate and Ashley’s 22nd birthday! This site and it’s fans would like to wish them a good one!

(I haven’t forgotten about this site, but I’ll spend very little time at home until August, and I don’t have the capacity to update much. I’m very sorry! I haven’t forgotten about the site, and when I can I’ll squeeze in little updates!)

Elle has released the cover and images for Mary-Kate’s shoot that will be published in the July magazine. I have to say, she looks smashing! . If I wasn’t so busy I’d want to create a new layout with them, they are simply gorgeous. This might be my favourite Mary-Kate shoot to date!

June 2, 2008 :: Mary-Kate And Ashley Olsen Venture Into Jewelry Designing

New York, NY (CNS) - Power twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are expanding their empire with a new designing venture. The pint-size moguls are set to create a collection of jewelry designs.

The 21-year-olds have collaborated with the Council of Fashion Designers of America award-winning jewelry designer Robert Lee Morris to create a range of accessories for their Elizabeth and James clothing company.

According to reports, the twins are working closely with Morris, whom they are both admirers. They have been visiting his headquarters to search through his archives for inspiration before they would decide on which design to add in their collection.

The line will consist of “silver and brass dagger necklaces, amorphous knuckle rings and edgy earrings,” as per WWD.

The line “Robert Lee Morris for Elizabeth and James” is set to launch within a few months.

:: Star-crossed booksellers make the Hollywood scene

Mary-Kate and Ashley attended the Book Expo America to advertise their book Influence, available from October. You can see the cover behind them, it looks gorgeous! Can’t wait for the pictures (I’m also studying for my exam, and writing my thesis, so I’m not at home and that’s why updates are far and between)

Olsens use their ‘Influence’

Young stars Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen mingled with 70 booksellers at a party in West Hollywood to promote their glossy October book, Influence. The bash wasn’t open to reporters, but Mary-Kate got on the phone later to talk about the project and why the twins wanted the word out early. “It was the first party to launch the book, and we just wanted booksellers to know that we’re really excited about it,” says Olsen, 21. “We worked so hard on it.”

In the photo-heavy Influence (Razorbill, $35), Mary-Kate and Ashley together and separately interview 22 actors, designers and photographers they consider influential, including Karl Lagerfeld, Lauren Hutton, Diane von Furstenberg and Margherita Missoni. There will be two jackets, with a different Olsen on each front cover and the other on the back.

“We wanted it to be an inspiring book about people who are successful,” Olsen says. “Sometimes we all get lost in the process of our lives, and it’s inspiring to hear others’ stories and to know there will be ups and downs and to hear how they got through it.”

Does Mary-Kate, who describes herself as a perfectionist, think she is an influential fashion icon? “You would have to ask someone else that,” she demurred.

Hey guys, Romina here. Posting as admin, but it’s me
I don’t really have that much time for the site, as I really have to start focussing on my thesis and my exams now. I’m going to try to still update, but not on a daily basis.
I still have to update an event, but just wanted to quickly share these with you, a new gorgeous shoot of Mary-Kate to the official 07 session, and last but not least, the full shoot they did for the China mag Modern Weekly.
